Reports

The reporting module turns a location's data into a polished, shareable document. You choose what goes in — which sections, which charts, which records — and the platform generates matching PDF and Excel files in the background.

Overview

From a location's Reports page, click Generate Report and pick a report type (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or a custom date range). By default you get a complete report; enable Customize to fine-tune the contents through a short wizard.

Generation runs in the background — the report appears in the list as it moves from QueuedGeneratingCompleted. Completed reports can be downloaded as PDF or Excel from the download menu.

Choosing charts

In the Charts step you decide which charts appear and how each one is drawn:

  • Content — Assets by Type, Assets by Status, Work Orders by Status, Work Orders by Priority, Alerts by Severity, Inspections by Type, and Area Trend.
  • Visualization — pick a bar, donut, pie, or line chart for each. Categorical charts support bar/donut/pie; the area trend supports line/bar.

Only charts whose underlying section is included in the report are offered, so the chart list always matches your selected sections.

Filtering the data

The Filters step narrows what the report includes:

  • Assets — filter by type, operational status, tags, and whether to include deleted assets. Asset filters also scope everything derived from assets (inspections, form responses, photos, and KPIs).
  • Work Orders — filter by status and priority.
  • Alerts — filter by severity.
  • Inspections — filter by type.

Each filter group appears only when its section is part of the report. A filtered section that ends up with no records simply renders as empty.

The location map

When the Location Map section is included, the report embeds a satellite map of the location showing the boundary and its assets. Assets are colored by type (points, lines, and polygons are all supported), and a small legend maps each color to its asset type. If the map can't be produced, the report is still generated without it.

Export formats

Every completed report is available in two formats:
